- Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?
- Into the garbage chute, fly boy!
- Curse my metal body, I wasn’t fast enough!
- Luke, at that speed will you be able to pull out in time?
- Get in there, you big furry oaf! I don’t care what you smell!

BioWare talks possible Mass Effect spin-offs - Garrus, Illusive Man or Javik to star?
[…] Walters can’t make his mind up. “Aria. The Illusive Man. Kai Leng. Any henchman. The list goes on. I think most of them could have successful spin-offs of their own in some fashion.” Aria, it’s worth remembering, got storefront billing in Mass Effect 3’s Omega DLC - on the strength of your adventures together, would you say she’s got leading lady potential? And what about Mr Illusive? I reckon he’d do rather well out of a prequel set during the First Contact War.
Regarding the timeline: I am not sure I would really enjoy a pre-Sheppard era game. Bioware would be unable to add new in-game technology to the universe, as it technically couldn’t surpass anything we have already seen in the three first games. 1
More so, from a player perspective it would be a little like watching Titanic: you kinda know the thing is going to sink at some point. A story where you know the outcome for the protagonist is just not particularly engaging. Even if it would be interesting to find out how and where the Illusive Man amassed all that wealth and power, as a player you would know that he is going to end up a lunatic with a bullet in his head.
- See Star Wars I-II-III as an example where this went horribly wrong: the tech in the prequels is far superior to any and all technology available to both the empire and the rebel forces 20+ years later.

My new favorite sub-reddit is /r/GamesTheMovie.
A place to share YouTube videos that tell the entire story of a game. Usually a compilation of all relevant cutscenes into a single (and often lengthy) video.
See Star Wars: The Old Republic - The Jedi Knight example.
The Walt Disney Company and EA Announce Multi-Year Star Wars Games Agreement
DICE and Visceral will produce new games, joining the BioWare team which continues to develop for the Star Wars franchise. The new experiences we create may borrow from films, but the games will be entirely original with all new stories and gameplay.

Happy Star Wars day

I remember seeing these animated gifs far, far back - a long time ago - in the early days of the Internet. Interview with the creator here.
So much awesome.
Let’s see..
Princess Leia has a BDSM session with a slug. She owns of a “human-cyborg relations” droid. There’s beastiality with the Wookie. Incest with her twin brother, in front of both her smuggler squeeze and her Wookie.
I need to watch Star Wars again.

Original George Lucas Script ‘The Star Wars’ Gets Comic Adaptation
“I’m not sure where I first read about The Star Wars—it was years and years ago—but the idea of Luke Skywalker being an older Jedi General, and Han Solo being a six-foot-tall lizard, turned my Star Wars fan brain on its side,” said longtime Star Wars editor Randy Stradley. “I always assumed this would be one of those stories that would be ‘lost to history,’ so getting to work on bringing it to life is kinda like a dream come true.”
Very interesting. After the last 3 films I am more or less convinced that Star Wars was so successful because of timing and sheer luck in that Lucas didn’t have the technology and capability to create what he wanted.
Looking forward to seeing what the original vision was..
