Clever spin from Chick-Fil-A
Business Insider is running a piece on Chick-Fil-A denying a fake user account on Facebook. It features this statement:
“I can confirm that Chick-fil-A has not created a false Facebook page of any kind. Our official corporate Facebook page continues to be our only one.”
Thing is, that is a non-statement in this matter. This isn’t about a fake page, it is about a fake account. There is a difference.
It’s possible that Chick-Fil-A made a fake account, who knows - but their statement doesn’t deny or confirm that whatsoever. Pretty clever on their part.
